List of ingredients:
·
Flour 8cups
·
Yeast 2tbsp
·
Milk 2cups
·
Salt 4tsp
·
Melted Butter ½ cups
·
Nutmeg 1tsp
·
Eggs 2
·
Sugar ¾ cups + 1tbsp
·
Warm water ½ cup
Procedure:
1. In your mixer
bowl add warm water, yeast and 1tbsp sugar. Let it rest for 10mins.
2. After 10mins in
the same bowl add your flour, salt, milk, melted butter, nutmeg or any flavor
of your choice, eggs, and sugar. ( Please follow the measurement above).
3. Use the C shaped
hook of your mixer used for kneading and knead dough for 20mins on medium
speed.
4. After kneading
roll it into a ball shape. Oil your bowl and place dough in it.
5. Cover the bowl
with cling film and a clean towel and let it rest for 1hr 30mins.
6. It will double
in size. Punch out any air in it.
7. Take it out of
the bowl and roll and shape it however you like.
8. Butter your
bread pans and place them in the pans. (I used 2 big bread pans.) You can use multiple
pans.
9. Once the dough
is in the pans cover with cling film and let it rest for another 10-15mins or
till it doubles in size. Then brush dough with eggs wash.
10. Bake for 25mins at 177C or 350F.
Enjoy.
Have a lovely
day.

Oh, this bread looks delish Annie!! I'm always so intimidated by making bready doughs, the only one I've been successful with is making dumplings from scratch, haha!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful week! :)
Make Life Marvelous
I am always scared of making bread cos I don't want to knead by hand. Now you're giving me a recipe that requires no hand kneading. Best believe I'm going shopping and making this recipe this weekend ❤

I have to say there is nothing better then fresh baked bread. I recall I went to this party in Seattle and they were serving homemade bread it was INCREDIBLE. I still remember and that had to be over a decade ago. This recipe sounds super good I just may try this now that the weather is cooler.
